Green Island, a beautiful island located at 33KM east of Taidong province of Taiwan, only 15,000 Km square of area, you can turn a round by riding scooter about only 30 mins.

The Green Island is not a developed place, it still keeps a lot of original culture and a lot of natural views and animals. Here, we can find a lot of wild animals as Taiwan famous "spotted deer", insects as "stick insects (竹節蟲)", reptiles, crabs, and also venomous snakes in which their poison has no cure, so if they bitting you, you have to say good bye to the wonderful world.

The Green Island was used by Taiwan government in early stages specially to put the prisoners in jail, it was a misterious place for Taiwanese until 1980, but right now since the tourism are already developed, the old jail is open for every tourist. The new jail is not available to go in, due to there are still a lot of prisoners inside.
The sun here is strong, clear sea without any pollution, at the night you can see a lot of stars. But unfortunatelly, in this trip there was a full moon, therefore, the light pollution of the moon did not let us see a clean sky with plenty of stars. Well, I prepared a tripod to take a picture of the star trails, but due to the moon, I can't do that, because hardly can exposure the aperture for 30 mins with that strong light of the moon. (T_T)
Furtheremore, we was scared before depart to GI, there was a typhoon birth at the southeast of Taiwan just on the day we are going to GI. Fortunately, the typhoon goes directly to the northeast and won't pass through Taiwan. But, due to the typhoon, the ship that we took to go there was really shaky, the waves and wind were extremely high, I saw a lot of ppl vomiting, poor them....
A lot of lovely places, but no much entertaiment, GI is famous for scuba diving and dive, we just went to scuba diving, my first time, was a little bit nervous but it is very safe in Taiwan. Further than this there are no much things, only spring water and landscapes.
